We’re very excited to announce that FORD New England has stepped up as a major sponsor of this year’s parade. FORD was founded by Henry Ford and incorporated on June 16, 1903. Ford introduced methods for large-scale manufacturing of cars and large-scale management of an industrial workforce using elaborately engineered manufacturing sequences typified by moving assembly lines. Henry Ford’s methods came to be known around the world as Fordism by 1914. This is truly one of America’s great modern inventions!
FORD New England has generously given us a 2012 FORD Focus this year to be raffled off at the festival in support of the Clam Festival’s mission of providing opportunities for Yarmouth-based non-profits to support their organizations. Thank you FORD New England!
So, get creative and theme your floats after the endless possibilities of Great AMERICAN Inventions.
A special thanks to our NEW Parade Director, Courtney Kennedy. She can be reached via email
