2026 Parade Theme: Comics & Cartoon Classics!
Always Friday night of the Festival, the Parade is a festival favorite! Visitors from away join thousands of locals to line the sidewalks for a mile-and-a-half, hour-long parade that includes floats, antique cars, musicians, and unique entertainers from all over Maine and New England.
We hope this year’s theme: “Comics & Cartoon Classics” inspires you to get creative! Grab your co-workers, neighbors, teammates or family members and reenact your favorite comic strip, cartoon, or graphic novel.
6:00 pm Friday night…come early, streets close at 5:30 pm.
